Carols at Christmas….

Right now I am having the most surreal experience sat here in the email room typing and listening to an assortment of the Christian staff here, who are using the room for rehearsals, practicing Christmas songs for the celebration on the 28th at hospital. The most bizarre part is that some of the songs are English carols, but the words are being pronounced with this gorgeous thick local accent…I’ll leave you to picture it…

Long time ago in Bethlehem so the holy bible says,
Mary’s boy-child Jesus Christ was born on Christmas Day

Hark now hear the angels sing,
Listen to what they say,
For man will live for ever more,
Because of Christmas day.
